Role Overview

An established international school is seeking an innovative Educator to teach both MYP English Language & Literature and Individuals & Societies (Humanities). The successful candidate will foster language proficiency, critical thinking, and global awareness through engaging, inquiry-driven, and interdisciplinary lessons that connect language and social studies to real-world contexts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in English, History, Social Sciences, or a related field.

• Valid teaching credential/license with at least 2 years of experience.

• Proven experience teaching within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Deliver MYP English and I&S curricula (covering history, geography, economics, and global issues).

• Design interdisciplinary learning units that link language arts with social studies.

• Apply MYP criterion-based assessment and provide actionable feedback to students.

• Encourage student inquiry, analytical writing, independent research, and classroom debates.

• Integrate digital resources and multimedia tools effectively into daily lessons.
